I'm having to waste my time to fix the problem of two people from USPS, the delivery person and the office supervisor, Carlos Gutierrez.
This is probably the worst post office I have been to in California, I had problems picking up packages here 3 times, always a line, and most of the people working there would be lucky to keep a job at McDonalds if they didn't work for the government. The last time the tracking number said delivered to this location for pick up, they looked at my license went to the back, came back, went back again, came back, said not here, I showed tracking number, then the worthless lady, said maybe you picked it up already and forgot i had it! Wtf? Then I asked for the manager, fat lazy Mexican lady, probably the best job she will ever have, looked in the back, came back, I said look at the name, she came back, looked again came back with it! After arguing with 3 people!
I went to my neighbor's house and no one answered the door. As of right now, I don't know what else to do and in the meantime, I don't have access to very time sensitive mail that is being held at the postal office.
The staff are helpful and pretty efficient, even when customers arrive in a bad mood. Haven"t had any issues here, the people are nice, and i always get my mail sent & delivered efficiently. The only problem with most post offices is that they are a little understaffed, which isn't the fault of the clerks & carriers.
We talked to other employees, asked for another supervisor or someone above Mr. Gutierrez and they initially refused to provide any information, they wouldn't even give us Mr. Gutierrez last name so that we could report him.
He went back to the employee-only room and I waited in the counter. When he came back, he told me that he was helping another customer. When he was done assisting the other customer, he started to walk back to the employee-only room and my wife said, "Excuse me, can I talk to you?" He ignored her and gave us an aggressive look. I snapped my fingers at him to get his attention, while I was saying excuse me. He yelled at me, "Don't you snap your fingers at me!" He kept walking to the private room and stayed there.
There are no pens so bring one if you think you'll need one. Be prepared for at least 3 people in line ahead of you no matter what time of day. One lady told me they didn't have any tape at the post office to tape up the flat rate box I got from the display and tried to sell me tape from their little store. I just went down to the unmanned counter and taped up my box with the tape that was sitting there as I waited in line patiently. I can't believe she'd lie to my face to sell me tape or send me home. The Asian guy at least will be patient and honest with you.
Finally, after a long wait, one of the employees came out and told us that Mr. Gutierrez wasn't available anymore and we shouldn't wait for him to come since he wouldn't. She asked us to start from scratch and explain to her what happened. We went over the whole thing, she apologized for Mr. Gutierrez behavior and told us that he doesn't usually works there and doesn't know what his problem could be, he may be having a bad day. She also told us that we should go to our neighbor's house and asked her to write a letter and give us a copy of her Driver License so that they can release our mail to us.
The package was addressed to 2912 XXX, but was delivered to 2812 XXXX(my house). I walked over to my correct address and delivered the package myself. I haven't received any of my mail since someone put a hold on my address, accusing me of stealing the package. I went over to the Arcadia office and talked with the acting supervisor, Carlos Gutierrez, he came out after a long wait and he was extremely disrespectful and aggressive towards myself. He immediately started accusing me of stealing a package and telling me that there are consequences for people who steal. He didn't let me explain to him what happened or was willing to hear my part of the story. He kept interrupting me and telling me that the GPS data says that it was delivered and therefore, I stole the package. When I asked what could I do to resolve the issue, he told me to call the 1 800 number, which we all know is pretty useless for these kinds of issues.
Called this place servals times, no one to answer. if any one answer they talk down to you and they not there to fix a problem, but push you away! they can not to accommodate at all due to fact of their fault, but left my package behind! never think their reliable again!
